Mission
The mission of Career Professionals of Iowa is to provide a space for career professionals to collaborate, grow and enhance the future of the profession, and be the go-to resource for career expertise in the state of Iowa.
The objectives of the organization shall be:
- To advocate for the profession of career development professionals in all institutions of higher learning and to be a resource for employers, organizations, educators and students.
- To promote and exemplify high standards of professional conduct among CPI members.
Our Members
Membership is open to all individuals and organizations in Iowa and adjacent states with the intent of furthering the principles of career education, workforce, and employability. There is no membership fee to join.
- Educators: Representatives from any regionally accredited post-secondary educational institution with responsibilities in the area of career services
- Employers: Representatives of employers who recruit students/alumni in Iowa and adjacent states
- Students: Students from institutions in relevant degree programs located within the state of Iowa or adjacent states
- Organizations: Representatives of organizations directly engaged in providing career development related services
